December Calendar of Events

Friday, December 1st

• Youth Christmas Party at 6:00 pm at Ted and Jenny Watson’s Home. Youth are to bring a hot food item or dessert and a nice wrapped gift (untagged) priced between $10-$15 for Chinese Christmas.
• Adult 8 Sunday School class will have a “Southern Occasions” Christmas Party at 6 pm at the Wilkes’ Home. Please call Merilee Brawner at 388-2569 to make reservations to attend.

Saturday, December 2nd

• City of Andalusia Christmas Parade at 10 am. The Youth group will be collecting canned foods to donate to the Christian Service Center.
• The Men’s Ministry will be participating in cooking and serving food to the clients at Cross Over Ministries in Opp. We will serve supper at 5:30 pm. Contact Brent Cook if you have questions or would like to sign up to help.
• The Middle School Girl’s Discipleship Group will be going to Pensacola for a Christmas Shopping Trip and to Eat Out. Leave at 1:00 pm.

Monday, December 4th

• The WMU will meet at TBA

Friday, December 8th

• Our Annual Deacon’s Christmas Dinner will be held in the FFC at 6:30 pm.

Sunday, December 10th

• The Children’s Christmas Program will be held during the evening worship service.

Monday, December 11th

• Church-wide Visitation at 6:30 pm in the Choir Room

Friday, December 15th

• Children’s Christmas Party in the FFC.

Sunday, December 17th

• The Adult Choir Program will be held at 10:45 am

Monday, December 18th

• Bethany Gold will be held in the FFC at 6:00 pm

Wednesday, December 20th

• Church Wide Christmas Caroling

Sunday, December 24th– Christmas Eve

• No Discipleship Training
• We will have a candle light service at 6 pm.

Sunday, December 31st– New Year’s Eve

• There will be no Discipleship Training or Evening worship service.

Upcoming Student Ministry Events

• November 15 - Student Thanksgiving Mega-Worship. Bring some care package items to this event. We will be packing exam care packages for our college students who are away from home. Suggsted items: Candy and snacks, tylenol, hot chocolate, pencils & pens, popcorn, fun items, and other stuff to help our college students throught he holidays.
• November 27, 28, & 30 - Christmas Float Decorating (6:00 pm)
• November 29 - Community Christmas Shopping Trip. Students should bring $5 or more to help buy Christmas gifts for the needy in Covington County. (6:45 pm)
• December 1 - Student Christmas Party at Ted and Jenny Watson's Home (6:00 pm)
• December 2 - Andalusia Christmas Parade

Winter Ski Retreat Update

It's hard to believe, but we have filled up the Student Ministry ski trip! We have 38 people going on the trip. We have a waiting list for people to sign-up still, but we cannot take anymore people on this trip. If you are going on the trip and need more info, be sure to visit the student website, www.bethanystudents.com.
The student website has info such as rules, packing information, complete list of signed-up students, and medical releases.
