August Events

August 1- Last Youth/College TNT (Tuesday Night Together). Be on the look-out for more information on what this event will be!
August 5- You are invited to join Jenna Barton & Kyle Grissett as they unite in marriage at Bethany Baptist Church. The ceremony will begin at 3:00 pm. There will be a reception following the wedding in the Family Fellowship Center.
August 6- HOMECOMING SUNDAY- Sunday School will begin at 9:45 am, the morning worship service will start at 11:00 am. We will have a covered dish luncheon in the FFC after the morning service. Everyone please bring enough for your family plus one.
August 7- The WMU will be meeting at Era Andrews home at 6:30 pm
August 9- Student BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH- The Youth-College are invited to attend a shrimp boil at 5:30 pm in the FFC. Worship will begin at 6:30 pm.
August 9- We will begin business meeting at 6:45 pm.
August 13- Deacon Elections
August 14- Bethany Gold will meet in the FFC at 6:30 pm. Special guest will be Judge Trippy McGuire. GROW Visitation will also be held at 6:30 pm.
August 27- HIGH ATTENDANCE SUNDAY

Every month the Bethany Baptist Church Newsletter is sent out to all of our church members. If you do not receive the newsletter and would like to be added to the mailing list, please call Amy at the church office at 222-5551.
If you have information that you would like to be included in the newsletter, please be sure to call Amy NO LATER THAN THE 25TH of each month to be sure there is adequate time allowed for publishing your request. Thank you!

LETTER OF THANKS

Ed and Audrey Byers would like to extend a special thank you to the Bethany church family. Thank you for the phone calls, visits, cards, and prayers for them during the loss of their son, Mark Byers. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
