THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE
Sav-A-Life invites everyone to come to the Courthouse steps between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Sunday, January 22nd. This event will be to join in a special time of prayer for the Sanctity of Human Life. If you have any questions feel free to contact Mary Walters or Sandy Robbins.
YOUTH PRAISE BAND
The Youth Praise Band will be meeting in the FFC to practice starting Sunday, January the 8th at 5:00 pm, and will continue to be held at the same time each Sunday.
THE JANUARY CHILL
Our Annual WMU January Chill, Chili Supper will be held on Sunday night, January 22nd in the Bethany Family Fellowship Center. More information will be available in our Sunday bulletins.
JANUARY BUSINESS MEETING
The January Business Meeting has been rescheduled from Jan. 4th to Wed., Jan. 11th.
Bethany Gold
Bethany Gold will be meeting in the Family Fellowship Center at 11:30 am on Monday, January 9th. This will be a covered dish lunch. Bethany Gold is for senior adults, ages 55 and up.
JANUARY WMU MEETING
The WMU monthly meeting will be held on the second Monday of the month, January 9th, at 6:00 pm at Kathi Holcomb's home. We invite all ladies to come join in WMU!
SILVER RING THING COMES TO LOCAL SCHOOLS
Silver Ring Thing will be visiting our local schools. Here is the list of scheduled times for assemblies. Wednesday, January 18th-Silver Ring Thing assemblies to be held at 8:30 am and 9:30 am at Straughn School (Grades 7th-12th)
Thursday, January 19th-Silver Ring Thing Assembly to be held at 8:30 am at Pleasant Home.
Assembly at Florala Middle School at 1:30 pm.
Friday, January 20th-Andalusia High School Assembly at 8:30 am. Andalusia Middle School Assembly at 1:30 pm.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR
CHILDREN'S CHOIR TO RESUME JANUARY 24TH-Hat's off to all of the adults who have been leading groups at Children's Choir! The adults and the children all put a lot of hard work into preparing for the Christmas Contata, "The First Leon," and they did an awesome job on the performance! What a blessing to see so many children sing praises to our heavenly Father! Children's Choir was set to resume on Tuesday, January 17th; however school will be out on this day so we have decided to move the date up to January 24th. We will continue to have the church bus pick children up at the elementary schools and drive them to the church. If your child has not signed up for choir and would like to join, please contact the church office to fill out the appropriate paperwork to get your child enrolled! The more the merrier! Children's choir begins at 3:15 and ends at 4:30 pm each Tuesday. We will see you all January 24th! Happy singing!
G.R.O.W. VISITATION RESUMES
WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY NEW YEAR AT BETHANY BAPTIST CHURCH! WHAT BETTER WAY TO START THE NEW YEAR THAN TO REACH OUT TO SERVE OTHERS IN OUR COMMUNITY AND INVITE THEM TO BE A PART OF OUR WORSHIP SERVICES AT BETHANY! WE WILL HAVE GROW VISITATION EVERY MONDAY NIGHT AT 6:30 PM, BEGINNING JANUARY 9TH. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN OUR GROW OUTREACH TEAMS IN VISITING OTHERS, OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO WRITE CARDS OR MAKE PHONE CALLS, PLEASE CALL NEAL AT THE CHURCH OFFICE.
WE ARE ALSO ON THE LOOK-OUT FOR SOMEONE TO VOLUNTEER TO SIT WITH CHILDREN AT THE CHURCH DURING VISITATION SO THAT ADULTS WHO HAVE CHILDREN CAN TAKE PART IN THIS AREA OF MINISTRY. IF YOU FEEL THAT THIS WOULD BE AN AREA OF MINISTRY THAT YOU COULD PARTICIPATE IN PLEASE CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE ASAP!
