Family Night Meals Have Returned
Just wanted to let everyone know that a favorite of everyone has returned. The Family Night Meal! We will have family night meal on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. The first Wednesday will be hosted by the Student Ministry as a fundraiser. The third Wednesday will be hosted by Doug and Betty Johnson. We can expand to more Wednesday with your help. If you or your group would like to host a Wednesday Night meal, just call the church office. Thank you and God Bless!
BABY SHOWER
The Bethany ladies will be hosting a baby shower for Mary Walters on Sept. 25th at 2:00 pm in the FFC. It's a boy! The baby's name will be Andrew Scott Walters. Needed Baby Items: Diapers, Wipes, 6-9 mth boy clothes, misc.
Overtime III
The plans are in place for a great Overtime III. We are planning on having this event on September 23rd following the football games and the band for the evening is Beautiful Muse from Auburn, AL. This group calls Lakeview Baptist their home church and has traveled and performed with groups such as Big Daddy Weave, Shane & Shane, Jeremy Camp, Kevin Derryberry, and Fusebox. They have a passion for Lord and this can be seen in their music. Don't take my word for it, go visit

Sav-A-Life Banquet
The 14th Annual Sav-A-Life Banquet will be held Sept. 26th at 6:30 pm at the Andalusia Kiwanis Building. Our speaker will be Dr. Alan Keyes. Tickets can be purchased at the church office, The Pregnancy Resource Center, or at Christian Book & Gift. Adults: $15.00, Youth $10.00. Remember this is a fundraiser and Sav-A-Life needs the support of the community! The deadline to purchase tickets is Sept. 19th!
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS MEETING
All Sunday School teachers please meet in the Sanctuary at 8:30 am on the 18th!!
CHILDREN'S CHOIR BEGINS
Our Minister of Music, Neal Wallace, is kicking off children's choir on Sept. 13th! The church bus will be picking-up children in the back of the elemetary schools. Parents please note that your child has to have a signed permission slip to ride the church bus! The children will enjoy an afternoon snack and a wonderful time of singing praises to Him. Choir will end at 4:30 pm- please be sure to pick-up your child/children promptly! We will have Children's Choir every Tuesday. If you have any questions contact Neal Wallace at the church office.
VISITATION
We encourage you to come on Tuesday nights and join in on church-wide visitation. You can go visit with a group, make phone calls, or send mail-outs. This is an important area to serve the Lord and His church. We will meet at Bethany at 6:30 pm each Tuesday to split up our list of visits and contacts.
WMU LADIES
We will meet on Sept. 12th at 7:00 pm at Wilma Tillman's home for our monthly meeting.

News for the Young at Heart- We will have our September Fellowship on the 12th at 11:30 am in the FFC. We will be having an in-door picnic for all to enjoy (in the air conditioned environment). Come enjoy grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and bring your favorite picnic side dish! See you there!
Promotion Sunday
Just a reminder that Promotion Sunday for all Sunday School will be September 4th. I hope that you will make plans to be present. We have a great slate of new teachers lined up and many of your old favorites. Hope to see you there!
